Today I had to wake up early for my 930 class which was the same as every Wednesday. In between classes I got a little bit of work done until journalism class. After class I went to the writing center to get some advice with my psych paper. I was going to work more on it but after 7 hours of classes i wasn't feeling it. When I got back me and trilby made a frozen pizza and then watched magic mike. We also dyed her hair dark brown and it looks so good! It was the first time I dyed anyone's hair and I actually did a really good job! She looks gorgeous!

Today I woke up with intentions of working on my paper so I went to the London center. I actually did get some if it done as well as the assignment for my online class. When I got back I decided to go for a run before it got dark because today was 53 degrees out!! I know and it was sunny! It was gorgeous out! But after my run I did a workout took a shower and ate dinner. I made some pasta with tomato sauce which was good. Then I just hung out the rest of the night.

So today I had intentions of working on my paper all day... But it didn't go so well. I feel like I have to go to the London center if I want to concentrate because I get really distracted when I'm trying to do work in my room. I did get a different paper done though so that was good. I went to intracity also today. But only ten people showed up! But that just means I got to play the whole three hours.the coach of the women's team was actually there today in place of the guy who usually supervises but he's like 25 so he's cool to talk to and stuff. But he was saying if the team had me and this other girl who went back to America they would be soo good. I was so flattered! But I really did kill it while I was playing. Like I scored so many goals and they were nice shots! Plus I think my foot work is getting better too. But when I got back I made some grilled cheese and ramen while FaceTiming Lauren and then me and trilby watched a movie.

Today was a fairy tale. Literally. First I went to the pretty church at 1030 am for mass. Then I had my date with James! So I got all ready and he came around 2. He got me a gift! He got a custom made liverpool jersey for me with my name and number on the back! How cute!!! No ones ever just given me a gift on a date. So cute. I didn't really have a plan for the day I was just gonna be spontaneous and see where the day took us. So first we took a stroll through Hyde park which was really cute with the lake and all the swans and birds. Then we ended up at the Lancaster train station so I was like alright let's get on! So we got on the train and randomly got off at covent garden. He suggested we get a small lunch and then he would take me out to dinner later. So we got these jacket potatoes which are supposedly popular there. There pretty much just stuffed baked potatoes and we both got the one with chili. Covent gardens is beautiful it's all stone streets with beautiful buildings and shops. So we sat on the curb and listened to this guy playing the guitar and singing for everyone. Very romantic. Then we decided to get on another train and so we got off at embankment where the eye and Big Ben is. So we crossed over the bridge and there were a bunch of street performers and a carasoul. We walked the line of the Thames river and the sun was setting. Ahh even more romantic! It gets better though.. So after walking awhile we decide to get dinner. He held out his arm as I linked mine into his and we strolled down the stone alley with all the cute little restaurants and we settled for an Italian one.(he has the british accent and and speaks Italian! Couldn't get any more perfect..oh wait he's training to be a cop..how I love a man in a uniform!) so the place was really nice and I almost fell over when he ordered the food because because obviously it was Italian and it sounded so nice. We ordered bruschetta and melon wrapped in prosciutto which was sooo good and then I ordered lasagna al forno which was delicious as well. Afterwards I told him we should go to one more stop and I had in mind the place I found on the Harry potter walk with the orange and blue bridge overlooking the water with St. Paul's cathedral in sight. Unfortunately I didn't know what train stop it was since we walked there the other night. So we tried one and it was wrong and I decided to just get off at St. Paul's because I knew there was a bridge there. It was the wrong bridge but I retraced our steps from the other night and after about 45 minutes of walking we turn a corner and there it was. TE most beautiful scene I've ever seen. So we go up to the little wall and just look out and were having some cute conversations and then he asked if he could kiss me! It was so perfect everything from the kiss to the scenery in the background. I felt like I was in a movie. Except it was really cold so my nose got pretty runny and some snot got onto his nose..but good thing we just laughed about it. I literally laughed and smiled all day my mouth hurt so much by the end. He's so fun to be around and has my kind of sense of humor. So he had to get back to make his train home and he walked me back and we kissed goodbye. What a magical evening!

Today like most Saturdays I didn't do much. But me and trilbs had to make an applie pie since tonight was inaki's international soirée so we had to make something American so we went to tescos to get the ingredients buttt....bright when we walked in we see apple pies for one pound! So we definitely just bought two and then some vanilla ice cream. So we looked up on google how to make a bought pie look like a homemade one and all I got was to make the ends of the crust look jagged and then were gonna wrap it in foil and take it out of the plastic it's in now hahah were so clever. But afterwards I worked out and juggled at the park for awhile. After getting ready we headed to inaki's. of course trilby lost the post it with all the directions and address on it halfway there. We remembered the train stop and some of the address. So we finally made it to the apartments which weren't too far from the train station and headed up. The whole thing ended up being pretty awkward because it was all girls and English girls are just not friendly, they barely talked to us. Me and trilbys quote of the night was "I'm gonna go check on the pies" since it was so awkward and that's all we had to say. But the food was really good.. Most of them were Spanish so it was alot of Spanish food like Moroccan meatballs, croquettes, and tortilla Espanola. No one even ate our pies! The strawberry shortcake cake totally out beat us! So later we told Iñaki we had to get up early and wanted to make the last train around 12 so we left thank god. Because we were literally sitting in a corner by ourselves..

Wow it's been exactly two months! Now it really is going by fast! I'm trying to tell myself to enjoy while I can because I know I will miss it when I get home! Today we planned on going to the barbican rain room which is an art exhibit that allows you to walk through a down pour without getting wet with the use of motion detectors and stuff like that. But it's so popular and the exhibition ends on Sunday...which explains why when we got there and waited in the line for a little a worker came up to us to let us know we were at the eight hour mark! Yes eight hours....! All for a five minute walk through! We decided it wasn't worth wasting a whole day and that the next rain storm we would go out and hold umbrellas over each other... Although we could've gotten a really cool picture but oh well. So we decided to go to the hair salon because I've been wanting to get my hair fixed...the front Is just way too long compared to the back. So I went and told them and they said they would fix it and give me a wash for ten pounds so I agreed and they did a really nice job. They really concentrate when they do it...both times the guy sat down at eye even with my hair and was so focused! So I was happy afterwards. We made some pizza for dinner and then had our Harry potter walk that our RLA emailed us about that was only for Arcadia students so. Obviously net since it was free..well we hated the tour guide because he told us so many pointless and boring stories when we just wanted to see where things in movies took place! Not to mention it was about ten degrees out and I had to pee the whole time! Besides that we got to see the most beautiful night scene of London bridge, St. Paul's cathedral, and the Shakespeare globe theater. I definitely want to go there with a guy it was so romantic! When we got back we obviously used the bathroom... And then made tea and popcorn and watched a movie!

Today was exhausting! I worked out early and then got ready for class. Got my period today no wonder I've been craving chocolate so much! And probably explains why I was so this today.. But for photography class we walked to this Meusem which took like an hour Nd we stopped at this market in covent garden and me trilby and Andy all bought these delicious sandwiches! I loveeee market food I wanted to buy everything! But today I realized everything is much closer than it seems! Like we walked to covent garden which took like twenty minutes on the train when we went to a club there last month. We were also not far from the eye and then Trafalgar Square popped up out of nowhere. After the Meusem, which was an exhibit on Juergen teller (very disturbing photos) we realized buckingham palace was right down the street! So we snuck away from class and went there which I'm so glad we did because I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet! So we did the whole picture thing and watched the guards which are way different in movies! They were behind the gate which we couldn't even get in to! Anyway so we eventually took the train back to the London center to work on our psych papers...very stressful. When we got back we had like an hour before our free movie at the gate in notting hill. It was another one of those slackers club movies which students get to see for free! They were showing pans labryinth but hey it was free! So of course we snuck in soda popcorn and candy! But there was a couple there and the boyfriend was so ignorant and rude Nd apparently really didn't want to be there because he made such a scene cursing and screaming during the movie! He almost got in a fight and I wanted to scream at him so bad but he was really scary and I thought he might hit me or something or wait for me outside after the movie and do something. But finally another kid got up and told the people and they came in and first thought it was us but we pointed to the guy in front of us and he started screaming and cursing again and then the worker told him they're going to call the cops and he's screaming fine do it! The poor girlfriend was trying to shut him up but apparently he said they're over anyway! So she finally gives him the keys and he leaves and the whole theater started clapping which was hilarious. But idk what happened with him or the cops. But we walked home and just hung out.

Today's my early class which stinks because I'm so tired! But we went to Tate Britain again this morning for class and were given our last assignment. I got another A on he last one! I'm so proud of myself because he gives like everyone Bs! But after that I went back to the London center and did my online course assignment and then had journalism class right after that where we had our first test. We had to write a news story from a situation and this writers notes and it was about a man being arrested for burglary and what not. But after class I went to subway because I didn't have time to eat dinner because I had to stay at the London center to work on my psych essay. It's so hard because it has to consist of so many articles and they're all so long and boring! But at least I got the intro done...and I was there for three whole hours! When I got home I skyped aunt tracey which was nice! I did some laundry and went to bed.

This morning I woke up and worked out and then got ready for class at city, which was so boring because she literally just says what I read in the book and reads straight from the PowerPoint that she posts online. But I needed to go to the clinic after to get some help with our coursework essays which is going to be really hard and it's due in two weeks! But afterwards I just went home made some dinner and watched tv.

I basically just did homework all day. But at 5 I went to play intramural soccer and I felt like I got beat up! I have a bruise the size of a watermelon on my leg, another one on my arm, and I got a ball pegged into my face! Yeah..im in pain.. But my friend Dylan from school was there so he walked me back to the train station since he was passing it anyway so no worries I didn't walk myself this time! When I got back I just made some leftover pasta took a shower and hung out.

Today was a very lazy day...Sundays always are.. But I went to church and our RLA shows a movie every Sunday in the lounge and this week was sky fall, the James Bond movie so I went to it because I liked that movie! I also skyped with stoner and Ana which was nice. Since the oscars don't come on until one am here I stayed up and found that they didn't even play it!!i stayed up for nothing!

I didn't do much today! Just homework and then I was going to workout but my iPod was dead and I can't run without it so I went to the park and juggled for like an hour and a half. For some reason I felt really alone today. I think I'm sick of being with the same person everyday. I can't wait because in two weeks a bunch if guys from the soccer team are coming for spring break so ill get to see some familiar faces. But after that me and trilby went to the store because we were going to make that chicken and asparagus pasta again. Let me tell you it was even better this time! So now we have dinner for like the next week since its a big pan. But we were going to go to this club later but we didn't so a bunch of us just hung out in the basement.

Well today was literally the best day ever! It was the day of the fashion show! However, our tickets still had not come in yet so we just hoped they could do something about it there. So we dressed up all cute which was fun and headed to somerset house which is where London fashion week took place all week. So basically we sat in the same room that Anna winfour and Tom ford sat in! Ah! So we got there and eventually we were directed to the box office where we got our tickets but had to switch them to the 3:00 catwalk wince we already late for the 11:00 one. That meant we had 4 hours to spare! But no worries, we actually bought tickets for shop and catwalk which meant we got to shop in the stores with all the fancy designer stuff. I tried on a 1500 pound jacket! It was beautiful. But in the middle was a building where they gave away all this free stuff. There were hot guys walking around with free Greek yogurt, and diet cokes, and chocolates. I bought a 15 bracelet and now I will always remember I got it in London:) because the bracelets were all packaged with a town like New York or Paris, but I obviously got the London one. There was a huge Elizabeth Arden section where they were giving 10 pound makeovers and then you get ten pounds off any product. I was going to do it but I decided to get something that would last longer,,,like the bracelet. We also got Elle magazines for only a pound! Eventually 2:30 came around and so we got in line for the catwalk. We got front row seats!!! Ahhh! It was the best experience ever.the clothes and jewelry were amazing! I wanted everything! But the show lasted a out 45 minutes and on our way out they gave out more chocolate. Yum! And then if you have a phone from Vodafone you got free red nail polish so i got that too! On our way home we couldn't stop smiling it was just so cool! I also picked up my package today from my mom finally! Best package ever because it had a bunch of brownies and chocolates in it and a beautiful card that made me cry! Afterwards we were craving pizza so we ordered dominoes and watched a movie.

I love Thursdays they always turn out to be good days. I worked out this morning and then got ready for class. It was so cold out today I almost got frostbite.. Anyway, class was good. It was photography so we worked on our sketchbooks. Right from class, I went to intramural soccer which was good except I was the only girl there this time! At least my friend Dylan was there! When I got back I made ramen noodles,,.again...and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...typical college kid meal.. But then trilby and I watched bridesmaids which Was Hilarious. We got to bed around 2!

Ugh I woke up cranky today! Every one was just getting on my nerves and I just wanted to go home all day. The most boring class ever was today, intro to British art, where a monotone guy goes through a PowerPoint presentation and talks about art for 3.5 hours. Can't get any worse than that. I didn't have journalism today because our visit to the guardian on Monday counted as class so that was good! I went to the grocery store after class and then the pharmacy. Later I did my workout which made mean little less cranky. The scenery can do that..it literally just puts you in a better mood! I love running around 430 because the sun is setting over the lake with all the swans and birds. Ever since Sunday it's been getting dark later like around 545ish I love it! Afterwards I took a shower and made some dinner And basically hung out the rest of the night.

Today was pretty boring. I woke up and didn't feel too good so I didn't work out. Our city course was today and that was boring. Then soccer was cancelled but I was kind of glad because I feel like if I went in the freezing cold and played I would've gotten more sick so maybe it was for the better. But when we got back we made ramen...again...and did homework the rest of the night! The Internet was down all night so thank god I finished my paper before that happened! I also facetimed with Lauren today which was nice..I miss my sister!

This morning I woke up and worked right away because I normally don't have class today but for my journalism class we were visiting the guardian which is a big newspaper here. I thought the visit would be more interesting but it was actually very boring since we weren't allowed to tour the building. So we basically just sat in a room for two hours while this lady talked about the paper. A national editor also spoke to us and did some Q&A. They were going to show us a small part of the building but Katie asked me earlier if I wanted to go stalk fashion week because today the Burberry tents for the show were being set up in Kensington gardens which is right near where I live...or so we thought.. So we told the teacher we had another class to go to and we ditched! We took the train and looked everywhere for the tents and we could not find them! There is Kensington square, Kensington gardens, and Kensington which we were unaware of. So we had no idea, and it was a big fail. But I had intramural soccer after so I had to take the train all the way back to where we started. Soccer went well I scored a sick goal and the whole place was like ohhhhhh and everyone came up to me and high fived me. I felt so cool haha. But I got back made myself some soup and did homework for the rest of the night.

Well I only got two hours of sleep! We had. To be out of the hotel by 11 so we woke up at 1030 and then I realized we didn't know how we were getting to the train station. So I quickly texted Deborah and thank goodness she answered and said Lisa would take us back and be in the lobby in fifteen minutes. So we had to hurry and gather all of our stuff. We felt like crap so that didn't help. We were so happy because when we got to the station we Realized we only needed to take one train rather than having to switch. We basically slept the whole time and when we got back to paddington we had to walk all the way to the Lancaster underground station. That was even less fun then the train ride since we had all our bags, were functioning on two hours if sleep, and felt like crap! My Oyster card expired today so I had to put another month on it...another 81 pounds, thank goodness we get reimbursed for them. So we finally made it back and went to right to bed but what do you know I couldn't even fall asleep. 4 o clock rolled around which meant I had to get ready for church at 430. That was difficult because I had church I had no energy to even stand and I wanted to fall asleep but I stayed strong and got through it! When I got back I finally got to shower and I made my ramen. James and I were actually texting and Toby was messaging trilby on Facebook! We are definitely going to see them again...hopefully. But I fell asleep by 9.

Well today was one heck of an adventure. So it was Deborah's party today and I had all the directions planned out on the journey planner. When we got to paddington rail station we were so scared. It was huge and busy with so many people and announcers..way different than the underground. So I thought I knew what I was doing and thought to take the journey planner step by step so we went to buy our tickets and the total amount was 53 pounds each!! That's about $100! I literally started to tear up and considered going home butt trilby insisted that we go...especially since we already paid for our 50 pound each hotel room. So we make the train and I text Deborah asking why she didn't tell me it was going to cost 70 pounds to get there since we had to stop at another rail station and buy tickets there, she immediately called me and told me that wasn't right and when I told her what I did she said noooo that's not right and to get off at the next station and go to the ticket office and she'll tell me what to do next. So once we got there I had the lady talk to her and we actually got refunded the 53 pounds and the correct tickets ended up being 21 pounds. However, the lady made us feel so stupid she wasn't very nice... Anyway, we finally made it to the right station where Deborah's friend, Lisa, picked us up and took us to the hotel. Little did we know the donnington has about a million different hotels and we went to the wrong one first which scared me to death because when I gave my name they said it wasn't there. Could anything else go wrong?! But eventually we ended up at the right hotel and met Deborah. We got our key to our room and declared that we were going to make the most out of this very expensive trip. So we immediately explored. When we got back to our room we got changed to go workout because of course we were going to make use out of every facility we could! So we worked out in the gym, went in the steam room, aroma room, and the pool which was fantastic. I love the thought of swimming in the winter! We realized we had to start getting ready so we took showers. I asked for robes but little did in know the classic rooms don't get them. Bull crap! The shower stunk too..but we managed. We also brought chocolates and wine to have while we were getting ready which made the whole experience a little more luxurious. By 830 we walked down to the party room, which was actually on the same floor as our room, the first floor...since we got the cheapest room we could.. As soon as we got there we were greeted by Deborah and immediately introduced the only other young guys there..who were actually about 24 hehe oh well they were cute! So Deborah gave them this drink voucher and told them to get us a drink and of course we are always hesitant whenever people ask us what we want at a bar...since we're not used to it so we said the only thing we knew..Coke and rum...then they threw a curve ball at us and asked what kind of rum! Jeez what's with all the questions! So we settled for captain Morgan. We spent awhile talking to them and they kept buying us a drink. We asked aren't we supposed to buy a round...since that's what they do in London and they insisted that they pay. We even had shots of tequila! Gross! Then they said drinks are getting expensive so James's sisters boyfriend had a mini bar in the back of his car so we all made ourselves a drink there which kind if reminded me of home, trying to find ways not to buy drinks. So that was funny we were all just standing in the freezing cold drinking out of a trunk. At some point in the night everyone went outside and lit up these paper lanterns and let them go so they flew up in the sky. It was so beautiful and cute! When we went back inside James asked me if I wanted to dance and this is kind of where we split in to couples because trilby was with Toby, his friend. So I was dancing with him for awhile which got really cute because we were slow dancing too and then he kissed me! Ahh adorable! After the slow dance were dancing how my parents do which was very cool because I've never danced like that. Thank goodness he wasn't one of those guys that just wanted to grind. I would not have accepted that! Later in the night they asked us if we wanted to go out in town with them, his sister who was our age insisted that we go...and I can't believe it but we went! They mentioned it earlier and we said maybe but we knew we wouldn't and we actually did. The funny part was his mom came with us! She reminded me so much of my mom she was dancing the whole night and I loved how she came to the bar/ club with us. (She is friend with Deborah and James is her son and Toby is his friend). So we get the newbury town and they ask us if we have our IDs and me and trilby look at each other and were like uh no nobody told us to go get the ! We felt horrible and they paid for a taxi all the way back to the hotel where we got the and then all the way back to newbury. When we got to the first club we saw his sister and mom and the sisters boyfriend and the mom bought us all another drink. So we were just dancing and stuff and he buys me another drink! Eventually we left that club and went to another one. I loved newbury there were so many places all right next to each other! We only stayed theree for a little and then went to another one! We liked this one because there was more space to dance so we literally danced the whole time. It was so cute when we got there because we were holding hands and he knew the security at the front so we just got to walk right in. I felt so cool. I forgot to mention that James is training to be a police man which makes him ten times hotter...and that he plays soccer. So by 6 o clock we got a taxi back to the hotel, which they also paid for, and they asked if they could come in. We couldn't deny it because they each spent like eighty pounds on us tonight hahah whoops me and trilby didn't spend a dime.. So we were just all in the room for awhile and I have no idea how but 8 o clock rolled around! I had no idea it was that late since the curtains were closed so I thought it was dark out! I was so flabbergasted! We said our goodbyes and had our cute kisses and what not and we kicked them out hahah but I really think we are going to see them again. So they left and we realized we had to be out of our room by 11. So that left us with two hours to sleep...

Me and trilby have been planning this day for weeks! Shoppingggggg!!!! We wanted to go to one store and one store only... Primemark! Best store ever and I might die without it when I go back home, on the way there we witnessed something so scary! On the tube this lady got on and sat down and then this scary black guy with a huge scar across his forehead sat down next to her and literally just stared at her. She had to feel his eyes burning right through her! But all of a sudden he gets up and leans over in her face and is chanting something to her and she tried to move over and get away from him but he blocked her off! She looked terrified but then he just stopped and got off the train. None of the other men even helped her I was so surprised but I was terrified and me and trilby couldn't stop thinking and talking about it . You had to be there. But when we got to prime mark we were in heaven. My basket was filled within the first five minutes and we were still at the front. Everything is sooo cute and sooo cheap! We were there for three hours! I spent 44 pounds I was proud of myself..the last six pounds was on a bottle for Deborah who's party is tomorrow, were pretty excited about staying in a hotel...who knows why it's just exciting! But we got back and just hung out for the rest of the night. We didn't want to go out..we spend enough money already... I also topped off my phone because a month has been up since I got it and my Oyster card should be due soon too...ugh more money!

Yes yes we all know it's valentines day, but of course I'm alone! However as I was going out the door for my run I noticed three roses taped on the door and three notes that said happy valentines day... Here is a rosé just because... And we found out they were from Frankie because a while ago we told him we wanted just one flower on valentines day and he got them! How cute! But trilby got this huge flower arrangement from her boyfriend and that was just adorable. After working out I got ready for class. Today we were going to the national portrait gallery which I loved! I'm so fascinated with portraits and I think I'm going to do my project on that. But on the way home we went grocery shopping. We needed ingredients for our cookies that we were going to make! We have to have sweets on valentines day... Soo we watched titantic made some pizza and then afterwards made our cookies. I was so proud they turned out really good! I've never successfully made homemade cookies before! Yay us!

Early class today! The train wasn't too bad but I still manage to get all flustered and start sweating only because no matter what were always packed sardines on the tube in the mornings. But for class we went to the Tate Britain museum which I actually really enjoyed. I have a favorite artist now, William turner! We've been studying him a lot lately so I'm really becoming keen on his works. I got an A on my paper too! And these teachers, especially this one, are always saying how they barely give out A's and I go one!!! So proud! It's harder to get an A here because they start from zero and you earn the points as opposed to the American system where they start at 100 and take away points.
I had journalism class right after but my teacher was an hour late! That's annoying! But it ended around 530. So since it was Ash Wednesday I wen right to church since its only a five minute walk from my school and got my ashes. When I got back I made myself some ramen noodles and watched Ted with trilby. I got to FaceTime with Lauren and my grandma today so that was nice. It always makes me happier when I see my family's faces. I miss them!

Nothing special happened today. This morning I woke up and worked out and then got ready for class which was boring. Afterwards I had soccer practice which I love going to and it went well other than the fact that it was freezing! When I got back I made myself some soup did homework and went to bed.

Love not having classes on mo days! I woke up and it was snowing so I really didn't want to run in the freezing cold so I figured that I would go play soccer tonight for intracity which is the intramural team. So I got some homework done and then did an AB workout. I left around 430 because I had to go to city first and purchase a sports card for ten pounds and that is what allows me to play. Then I walked to islington academy and what do you know I see Dylan from my school there! Then I saw Sofie thank god because it was all guys! And playing intramurals with guys is like pro ball. They get so into it! But I played really good I was like the "new girl". A couple of them actually came up to me and told me that I was a really good player so I felt pretty good. Then all these Nigerian guys were hitting on me and asking me for my number Pshh definitely didn't give it to them. But I was so cranky on the way home it just takes forever to get there and I'm going again on Thursday ugh. The things I do to play!

This morning we woke up early to go to the nice church in hop born. We both loved the church and we could actually understand the priest plus it was beautiful! We planned on going to trafalgar square for the Chinese New Years celebration but we missed the parade because of church. Even though it was raining we still went and it was really cool. We got to see the winner of Britains got talent who was an amazing opera singer it was beautiful. Then there was acrobats and dancers and there were stands everywhere. It was freezing though so we left before the fireworks because then we would have had to wait two hours and we were already frozen. But it was a good time. When we got back we made some dinner and watched movies again!

Today was another lazy day, we literally watched movies and relaxed all day. But Dennis wanted to take us to get these amazing milkshakes at this diner called tinsel town so we went there and got the classic American dinner of cheeseburger fries and milkshake. I was cute. And the milkshakes were delicious! Nothing wrong with splurging a little...again!

Fridays are always my lazy days because I never feel like doing anything! So when I woke up I went up to the lounge and watched tv for like the first time since I've been here. They actually have desperate housewives here so I was glad to see an American show! But afterwards I worked on my psych reading and notes and then worked out. I made my fried rice and a hummus and cucumber wrap that was delicious! That's my new dinner every night! So we then decided we were gonna go to a bar with Frankie and Jenn so we pregamed here for awhile and then went. We decided to stay local too and check out the bars near us so we went to the champion. I hated it! Everyone was soooo stuck up. The guys were so snooty in their khakis and gay sweaters it was so annoying. But overall the night was fun!

Thursdays are always good days for some reason! But I had a nice workout and then got ready for class. On the way to the train station me and trilby had to stop at rynmans to get a flash drive for our photography class. So we got to class and it was just a workshop day where we worked on our sketch books and printed photos. We also handed in our five page essays thank god I'm done with that. But he was really impressed with my photos! He loved the fact and gave me props that i just walked up to random people and asked if I could take their pictures because I love close ups of funky looking people. But after class we went to this Chinese restaurant because we didn't feel like cooking and I didn't finish my fried rice so that meant I had leftovers for tomorrow night! Score! When we got back we watched a movie and then had cravings for froyo whoopss so obviously we went and it was the best. We got back and watched another movie and then went to bed.

Ugh today is my early class today. So I woke up around eight and got ready and we headed to the London center for class. Afterwards I had to get straight on the train and head to white city because we were going to the BBC television center for journalism today. I never even heard of the place before today but it was so cool! I got to see where they did the news forecast and taped shows like dancing with the stars and got to see the celebrity dressing rooms and I even sat in the same seat David Beckham sat! Amazing. It was about a two hour tour and at the end they had this mini quiz show which of course I volunteered to be on. First two girls got to act as anchor women and read off the prompter and then it was our turn! They showed a clip from a show and then we had to focus on all the little details.. I didn't know that beforehand... But then she asked us questions and the first person to buzz got the answer. I didn't win but I did get all the questions right that regarded what people were wearing...guess I'm right for a fashion major;) after the tour I went back to the London center to get some work done which I'm glad I did because I feel like it is way harder to get work done in my room. But when I came back I ate dinner, worked out, and went to bed!

Today I woke up and got right down to business. I got ready and headed to the London center to get some work done before class. I also had to go to the writing center again to get my paper revised before I turn it in on Thursday! But afterwards me and trilby went to city university for our psych class which was pretty boring. Today is my first day practicing with the soccer team! I decided if I leave right after class I can still make practice for about an hour and a half. I can't believe I found the place because it was fairly far from the university and kind of in the ghetto so I was pretty scared since I was alone. But I found out it is in zone 3 and my Oyster card is only for zones 1 and 2 so either I have to find a bus that goes there or I have to pay every week for a ticket to get there. What a pain! So it felt so good to play again! The coach told me that he could tell I was a good player Nd that if I came to the games I would definitely get playing time! Most of these girls were older though like 25 years old! They are still allowed to play when they are in graduate school here. But there was a girl from New York there also so that was a little comforting! Too bad I can't make the games though since I have two classes on Wednesdays which is when they are. But I got home safetly and ate dinner since I was starving! I spent the rest of the night doing homework as usual.

Well this morning I didn't feel too good. Hahah obviously.. But today was dedicated to doing homework and let me tell you I worked from twelve to nine thirty! I'm exhausted. I did take a break to go exchange the turf shoes i bought for cleats which I got for ten pounds! Yay! And me and trilby had to go grocery shopping we literally had no food. So I should be good for another week or so hopefully more, I feel like I need to start saving my money...

I went out and juggled today! For about an hour it was nice to get some touches on the ball. Around 430 I went to church of course because its Sunday.. But afterwards I decided I should probably get some homework done but god sent me a sign not to do it because Lauren decided that would be a good time to FaceTime! Haha so we talked for awhile until I told her I really had to get some work done because I had to start getting ready for the Super Bowl! So I got a little reading done...better than nothing. And then we started getting ready. We also started drinking our wine and I definitely got a little tipsy. And then we thought it would be fun to take people's alcohol from the kitchen because most of them have been in the for a while so we figured why should it be sitting around! Hahah whoops! After all that sneaking around we finally left for saddlers bar where we bought our tickets online. It was only six pounds for a meal, a drink, and to watch the game. The bar is actually a student bar for our school so we figured it would be a chance to meet people outside our Arcadia group. We were pretty buzzed when we got there lol oops only because we didn't want to have to buy drinks there! But soon enough a whole group of guys were sitting at our table talking and laughing the whole night with us! Oh yeeah I forgot we were there for the Super Bowl... I chose to root for the ravens because daddy was...always go with who daddy cheers for.. But we decided to act like die hard football fans so everyone was all asking us questions about what was going on...as if we had a clue... Hahah but then at the half time show nobody seemed to excited for beyonce...but that's my girl!!! These people were crazy so me and trilby just got up and started dancing and singing to all her songs while everyone just stared...tough crowd... Oh well we were having fun! But around four me and trilby thought it was idea to leave but we had no idea it was that late. We were planning to leave after the half time show but then those guys were a good time so we stayed! Of course we got lost and somehow ended up in Piccadilly Circus which is the only place we know what bus to take! Thank god! So four thirty rolls around and were finally back at our room snuggled in bed. Too bad trilby has class tomorrow!

Oh my gosh it's been exactly one month since we've arrived in London! Can't believe I've made it a whole month. I miss my family sooo much though I just keep thinking about the moment I get off the plane and my family will standing there! But that's not until another two and a half months. But today we went to the library to get our readings done for psychology. We felt like the new students because it was our first time at city's library and we just didn't have a clue. We were so nervous! But we finally got settled , found the books we needed, and did our work.on our way back we stopped at the grocery store and got dinner for tonight. I went for a run and did my workout right when we got back because it was going to get dark soon. We had to rush after and eat our dinner quick which was delicious! We used our leftover pasta but bought Mediterranean roasted vegetables and this chicken and it was so good! We drank some chardonnay at dinner and while we we getting ready so we were just a little tipsy hahah. But we were meeting trilbys friend inaki for drinks at this hotel called me london and it was so beautiful and modern! But he was so cool he's from Spain and lives in London and he's in the fashion industry. He goes to fashion shows all the time and he said if he knew we were here earlier he could have gotten us tickets to one since fashion week is soon! But then we got talking and he was like well if you do end of studying in Milan Italy just let me know because I know a lot of people there that you could talk to or maybe work for or you could come work for us! Ahhhh I definitely need to keep in contact with him! He bought all our drinks too! Afterwards we all went for sushi which was sooo good! And of course we got lost on our way back. We literally had no idea where we are like usually we have some sort of clue but not this time. So we ended up taking a cab which cost ten pounds each. I spent almost fifty dollars tonight! Well I'm certainly going to be living off of eggs and cereal for the next week...

Saturdays are definitely bum days. I literally didn't feel like doing anything all day! But despite that I still worked out and actually had a really good run. But afterwards I just made myself a salad and me and trilby watched soppy Nicholas sparks movies until two in the morning. Nothing wrong with having a bum day!

I woke up and worked out as always, it's easier to workout everyday when your in a routine. But I got my fastest time for my run which is a 2.5 mile course. Ill work my way up to more though. Bt I went to the London center early so that I could go to the writing center so I could get my essay proof read and it was an English teacher so obviously all his corrections were format related rather than content but it did help. Then for photography class we were going to the photographers museum but he wanted us to walk so that we could take photos on the way for our sketchbooks. I actually really enjoyed doing that I felt so artsy! But the museum itself sucked. We were so over photography by the time we got there. So we left, the teacher will never notice. When we got back we watched a movie and drank tea, I just wanted to relax. But afterwards we just made leftovers and then we found out there's a free movie at the gate cinema! It was called warm bodies and its showing at home too so I thought it would be good. But we ran to a drugstore and got candy and soda and then bought popcorn there. The cinema was so nice! There was beautiful pink and gold architectural ceilings and this big red comfy seats! The movie was so weird though it was scary, romantic, weird, and funny. Trilby and I called it a zom rom dram (zombie romantic comedy;)) but yeah it was cool though we had to join the slackers club to get a free ticket which just required us to give them our email and we found out the slackers club was for students who didn't want to homework so they went and saw a movie instead! Well good thing I don't have class tomorrow!

I hate Wednesdays! I have to wake up early for our 930 class which is until 1 and then I stay until 2 for my class until 530! For my first class we went to the royal academy for intro to British art. This wasn't as good as last times at the national gallery. We saw mostly landscapes which are so boring. But my journalism class was good! I don't even get bored in it! But when I got back we balsamic chicken and whole wheat pasta which was so good! I was very proud. But then I spent the rest of the night doing homework. I feel like I've been doing work nonstop for the past three days!

This morning I woke up and workout and then got ready for class now that I have class on Tuesdays! Ugh! But it was my first day at city university and thank god trilby and grace are in my class I probably would have gotten lost! But it was in a lecture hall called oakden and there are about 100 pele in there! Biggest class I've ever been in! But we went over what we will be covering throughout the term and most of it was really familiar from psych class with mr Corcoran in high school. Our grade for the class is literally made up of a test and a paper! Now that's a lot of pressure to do good! The class is also only an hour and fifty minutes with an hour clinic at the end which is like office hours where you can ask the teacher questions. There were actually a whole group of study abroad student which made us feel more comfortable since everyone else is British. This really hot kid sat in front of us and he was from Boston so we were talking to him for a little. After class me and trilby decided to go out to dinner. I'm over the whole cooking thing already. It really is a pain in the butt it's like we have to go grocery shopping like everyday! I'm running out of ideas and I don't feel like making it anymore! I really miss mommy making dinner for us! So we went to the this nice bar place called the arc and the food was alright. I didn't really like it. Or appetizer was burnt, my flatbread had way too much mayo, but we split this double chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and that was delicious! I swear this is the last time we are splurging! But then we took the train home and did homework.

This morning I woke up and decided to go and get cleats. So I walked to whiteleys which is a huge mall and then went to the jd sports inside it. I found a pair for fifteen pounds but I bought turf shoes, and when I asked the captain she said I should get cleats so now I have to go back and exchange them. But now I don't even know if I can play because most of their games are on Wednesdays when I have class all day and now my city course got changed from Friday to Tuesdays when they practice! Ugh! But when I got back I worked out and took a shower ate some lunch and then did homework for the rest of the day. Finally started my ten page paper! We made this delicious Greek tuna salad for dinner and some rice but it really didn't fill us up at all. Later we were starving and decided to be spontaneous and splurge and go to this frozen yogurt place called yogland at like ten! It was soooo good especially since we barely get to eat that stuff! But I finished up my homework and went to bed!

Okay so today's big event was getting my hair cut! We planned all week to get it done today and I was finally going short! So we walked on bayswater road finding a haircut place. We remembered one from a while ago but then we accidentally passed it and found another one but it was 30 pounds so we went back and found the other one but it was this nasty place underneath of a souvenir shop and no one was there... So then we went back to the 30 pound place and decided to just get it done there. We actually originally stopped at this one place but I thought 29 pounds was too much and there was only one person in the shop and it was a man hairdresser and I did not want him to cut my hair... Which is funny because a man ended up cutting my hair at the other place. So we go in and get settled and this guy is asking me what I want so I show him the picture and he's like that's it? Ew I do not like it. And he was so rude! And he kept questioning me and then I was like what's the problem here? Are you not able to do it or something? And he's like no no we can do it. So then he passed me on to get my hair washed and before she started I got really nervous because this guy was so rude and I wanted to walk out but then she started and it was too late. There was no turning back now. It was definitely the best hair wash I've ever gotten. It literally took like twenty minutes! And it should since I was paying thirty pounds! But it ended up the guy I was talking to in the beginning (the rude one) was not cutting my hair but another man was. But I actually really liked this guy he was so nice and very professional. He took so much time and concentration to cut my hair and he had like two other workers observing him. I guess they were in training. But it was a good haircut. Of course I wasn't paying for a blow dry so it didn't look great when I walked out but I basically ran home so I could make it look the way I wanted and it looks so good! I'm so glad I finally saw what I look like with short hair! It looks so much clean and healthier and I feel more put together with it than having my raggity extensions in. So I'm glad it turned out the way it did. But after I was done playing with it I went to church. We just made cheese quesadillas for dinner and then I got to Skype Lauren, Sam and Stef, and stoner Ana Kim and Nina. So that was nice! Later me and trilby watched Madeline and drank tea. How English of us!

I woke today and said it was going to be a good day and it really was! I went to the park and juggled with my soccer ball for awhile and then came back and me and trilby planned on running some errands today. So we went to boots pharmacy store and sainsburys for some groceries. It was so nice walking through town during the day. When we got back we tried making these yogurt covered strawberries but we used plain low fat yogurt and they turned out disgusting. But then I went for a really good run and normally I need an iPod but I didn't feel like using one today so I just enjoyed all my surroundings and I liked that so much better! But when I got back me and trilby worked out and then made leftovers of our grilled cheeseburger wraps. They were even better tonight. Afterwards we started getting ready and by nine Frankie got here and we were taking jäger bombs. Sooo good. But we were going to this club called proud in Camden and it was actually an old horse stable made into a club. It was kind of cool but the club sucked. Not to mention when we were about to switch trains the train we had to get on was closed! So then we had to somehow find the bus that goes to Camden and that took forever. Plus it started to rain! Bt the music at the club sucked and almost every guy there was flirting with every guy there?! There were So many gay guys we didn't even get hit on once! Except for the security guards who were so sexy. We actually met trilbys friend from high school there since she is also in London so that was nice. But we got lost again on the way home but finally managed to find our bus and make it back by 245.
